Lacee Watkins

Lacee Watkins first embarked on her journey in the publication industry as a Marketing and Events intern in August 2014 at Modern Luxury’s Atlanta office, where she was then hired on as a Marketing and Event assistant, which quickly graduated to a Marketing and Events manager for 2 years and now heads up partnerships for Modern Luxury’s very first publication, JEZEBEL Magazine. Modern Luxury is exactly where Lacee found her knack for working with local businesses to strategize their success. Watkins may play publishing industry at Modern Luxury, but she has not abandoned nor forgotten her passion for fashion, as she graduated from The University of Alabama with a degree in Fashion Merchandising and Marketing, and spent her time here interning among the likes of Oscar-winning designer Borris J. Powell and celebrity stylist and TV personality Shaye Strager whom Lacee has worked under during New York Fashion Week backstage coordination. Rarely you will find Lacee not working but when you do she is spending it traveling, hitting a yoga class, trying out the newest restaurant or hiking a new trail.
