Dr. Tyler Wheeler is a Primary Care Sports Medicine physician at Family Practice Center Atlanta. He is also an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Family and Preventative Medicine at Emory University School of Medicine. Dr. Wheeler completed his undergraduate degree at Sewanee: The University of the South, and medical school at Mercer University School of Medicine.
As a medical student, he was elected by his peers into the Gold Humanism in Medicine Society and was awarded the Service to the Family of Man Award by Mercer’s department of Family Medicine in recognition of his humanistic and academic achievements. Dr. Wheeler completed his Family Medicine residency at the University of Washington (UW), consistently among the top Family Medicine departments in the Country. During his time at UW, Dr. Wheeler earned an area of concentration certificate in Dermatology and was again awarded for his outstanding bedside manner.
After residency, he completed a one-year sports medicine fellowship at the Family Medicine Residency of Idaho, where he served as one of several team physicians for Boise State University Athletics. Dr. Wheeler is trained in musculoskeletal ultrasound, which he uses to help make diagnoses and to improve the accuracy of injections. He has lectured on screening to prevent sudden cardiac death in young athletes, and has published articles on Post-Concussion Syndrome and MRSA in sports.
Dr. Wheeler and his wife Lindsay live in Virginia Highland with their two dogs, Rubin and Adelaide. They enjoy traveling, skiing, yoga, and mountain biking. You can follow Dr. Wheeler on Instagram @DrT_MD.
Keith McDermott founded Vida-Flo in 2012 and remains President and CEO.
From April of 2006 to August of 2012, Mr. McDermott served as the Senior Vice President of Business Development for Biomass Gas & Electric in Atlanta, Georgia a corporation that builds renewable energy power plants utilizing a proprietary gasification technology to produce electricity.
Prior to that he spent 15 years working in sales and marketing with CBS Television Network in New York City, FOX Sports and Clear Channel Communications. He is also the published author of the book, Lessons From Our Fathers. He is based at our corporate headquarters in Atlanta, Georgia.
Saira serves as our Human Resources Director since January 2023.
Saira has 7+ year of Human Resources experience. Saira is a skilled and qualified HR expert whose role is pivotal to our organization. Saira’s goal is exceptional employee experience and support the growth of the company by overseeing all aspects of Human Resources. She is responsible for recruitment and onboarding of employee, payroll and benefits, performance management, career pathing and development, employee relations, and promoting the Vida-Flo culture.
Before joining Vida-Flo, Saira has worked with Ingles, Mitsubishi Electric Trane and Gratus Capital.
Shaun Curtis serves as Chief Operating Officer for Vida-Flo Corporate. He oversees operations, supply chain, construction, and support for both corporate and franchise locations.
Between 2001-2017 he held the positions of Chief Operations Officer and Vice President of Brand Development for Buffalo’s Franchise Concepts, Inc. (DBA Buffalo’s Cafe). During this time, Mr. Curtis was also the Owner/Franchisee/Managing Member of multiple Buffalo’s Café in numerous states. At various times in his career, he has appeared on local, regional and national news, and been the subject of countless articles in industry publications citing his expertise in his field.
In 2015 he was rated one of the top executives under 40 by Bloomberg Business.
Dan is an expert in matters involving franchise law. He represents Vida-Flo in all aspects of franchise and distribution law. His focus is on franchise structuring and development, preparation of franchise disclosure documents and agreements, franchise registrations and exemptions, franchise relations, franchise compliance, franchise avoidance, international franchising, and mergers and acquisitions of franchise systems. Additionally, he handles distributorships and licensing.
He earned his J.D. from the University of Arizona James E. Rogers College of Law and his B.A. in Economics and Environmental Studies from the University of Colorado at Boulder.
As the CEO of The Vida Group, a medical management partnership, Michael Haley leads a dynamic team of professionals whose focus is to provide leadership, management, and guidance to operators of health and wellness clinics. He is an energetic, vibrant professional with a tireless work ethic, creating an environment of success everywhere he goes.
Michael is a native of Alabama and a longtime resident of Tennessee. He attended Belmont University, where he studied marketing and business administration. After graduation, he built his professional career, starting in sales roles, where he demonstrated his ability to build meaningful relationships with clients and fully grasped the intricacies of business development. Through connections he made in medical sales, Michael was inspired to become an entrepreneur, where he connected in a partnership to deliver an IV Hydration health and wellness start-up. In over seven years of this highly successful partnership, Michael has led to the growth and development of multiple business units with Vida Group.
In his free time, Michael enjoys international travel, honing his culinary skills, and avidly educating himself in preventive healthcare and anti-aging concepts.
Adam Will is a serial entrepreneur and investor in Wellness, Medical Technology, Hospitality and Real Estate sectors. Bringing nearly 20 years of business leadership and a proven record of accomplishments with multiple S&P 500 companies, Adam focuses on strategic collaborations & growth for The Vida Group.
Having past served as the Executive Director at Thermo Fisher Scientific as well as being recruited by Canon Medical Systems as Vice President to establish a new division of Human Performance & Sports Medicine, Adam is passionate about health and well-being both professional and personally.
Adam lives in Nashville, Tennessee, where he previously served on the Mayors Health Care Council, the Nashville Leadership Healthcare Council, and held the position of Chairman for the American Cancer Society Distinguished events. He is active on the boards of multiple not-for-profit organizations, where he focuses on venture philanthropy enabling the organizations to become sustainable. For fun he enjoys golf, water sports, outdoor activities, and wellness.
Parker Turner has nearly twenty years of experience in both an ownership and executive capacity across a wide range of industries, most notably: mission-critical technology services, consumer discretionary healthcare, and various real estate ventures. He has vast shareholder and operational experience in both institutional and non-traditional private placement investments. Parker’s current entrepreneurial aspirations include a passion for health and wellness concepts aimed to improve personal health optimization and quality of life for all demographics, making him a key fit for the Vida Group team.
Parker is a graduate of Elon University (BA) and the Warrington School of Business – Univ. of Florida (MBA). He currently resides in Sarasota, Florida.

Paul Tripodes joined Vida-Flo as SVP of Franchise Development in June 2025, bringing more than 22 years of franchise sales and development experience to Vida-Flo. Prior to joining Vida-Flo, Paul served as VP of Franchise Development at Fuzzy’s Taco Shop where he oversaw the franchise division.
Paul has spent 22 years of his career in executive leadership and franchise development roles with national QSR, Fast Casual, Casual Dining, and hotel brands such as Fuzzy’s Taco Shop, Aloha Poke Co., Saladworks, Focus Brands, Moe’s Southwest Grill, Bojangles, Boston Pizza and Wyndham Worldwide.
Demaris serves as Vida-Flo’s Corporate Training Manager for Vida-Flo. She oversees training for both corporate and franchised locations.
Demaris Tsegai has served as our Franchise Business Manager since May 2025. From August 2023 to May 2025 she served as the General Manager for 4 company-owned Clinics in Atlanta, Georgia.
Olivia Podes leads our digital voice, ensuring it is both authentic and on-brand. In this vital role, she enhances our brand’s story and connects with our audiences across all channels, overseeing digital brand messaging and content creation. Olivia supports our hydration therapy clinics, and franchise expansion efforts nationwide. Her background includes managing social media for UGA Athletics and nationwide modeling agencies, where she specialized in transforming brand presences. As a former reporter and journalist, Olivia will ensure that Vida-Flo’s messaging is always credible, authentic, and effectively communicated.
